About Bilbao, Spain

Bilbao built up greatly during the industrial revolution. The city is skirted with factories and company buildings as Bilbao continues the proud tradition as a major seaport and industrial center.

It is also an attractive place to visit as it has a mild oceanic climate that doesn't fall much below the 35 Celsius marker, even in the colder months. Because of its climate, the city does receive a lot of rainfall which is both a blessing and a curse to visitors. A day at the beach is unpredictable but the lush green landscapes certainly make up for it!

Like many Spanish cities, Bilbao is cashing in on the tourism boom and has undergone many major renovations to modernize its historic roots.
