The Villa, built towards the end of the 19th century is magnificent. The facade of this two story building rounds out slightly into two wings with large windows. The tiled sloping roof is dotted with many chimneys.

The rooms located in the villa are all furnished to a very high standard with an opulance and refined elegance. All rooms and bathrooms are in supurbly excellent condition. The suites are located below the main terrace and most of them enjoy a unique view over the surrounding mountains and the Lugano bay.

The hotel has an award winning restaurant located in the main Villa, The Principe Leopoldo Restaurant, including a terrace when the weather is fine to allow outside dining with fantastic view of the surrounding areas. The restaurant is extremely popular so it is important for clients to book in advance, so not to be dissappointed.

The Cafe Leopoldo located in the Residence, offers a more casual atmosphere serving regional and Italian cuisine.
