Viking Star

This 200-room hotel was opened in April 2007 and is situated in the centre of Kemer. There is a total 198 rooms und a capacity of 432 beds. 4 rooms are disability-friendly, 12 rooms are connected and the hotel has 2 King Suites. In addition to a lobby area with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and lift access, facilities available to guests at this fully air-conditioned club resort include a café, hairdressing salon, bar, pub, disco, games room and a TV lounge. Other amenities include a restaurant, conference facilities and Internet access. Room and laundry services are provided for a fee, and a cycle hire station is also on site (fees apply). Younger guests will be entertained by the kids' club and they will be able to let off some steam at the children's playground. Garage parking is available for guests arriving by car.

Most of the rooms feature individually regulated air conditioning units and central heating. A wake-up service is provided in addition to a TV with satellite channels. Further in-room amenities include a minibar, music programmes and a direct dial telephone, as well as Internet access and a special bathroom with a shower/bathtub, WC and a hairdryer. A hire safe is available, and a balcony/terrace also features as standard in all accommodation units.

The hotel is 150 metres from the resort centre and 500 metres from the nearest beach. Kemer is a cosmopolitan resort with a good choice of shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel is some 56 km from the airport.

Sport and entertainment facilities include an indoor and outdoor swimming pool with a children's section, poolside snack bar. Sun loungers and parasols are laid out for use by the water's edge. Guests can take part in aerobics and aquafit sessions, and further facilities include a spa with various spa treatments (fees apply), a Turkish bath and a sauna (fees apply). Massage treatments are available for a fee, and guests looking to stay in shape can head to the fitness centre. For a fee, the more adventurous at heart can try their hand at a variety of water sports, including banana boating, waterskiing, jet skiing, motor boating and diving, as well as surfing, windsurfing, sailing, catamaran boating, canoeing and pedal boating. Alternatively, they can play a game of tennis or go for a bike ride (fees apply). Other facilities include an Internet café, cinema, various shows and entertainment programmes. A games room for kids is available, as is a baby room.
