Truly bad! room has one bar of soap that is slightly smaller than a credit card. Worse to come. Sat down to dinner and had the shrimp that I struggled to put my fork into. Main course was sausage and mash because they 'hadn't had a delivery of steak and ale pie today'. I was dissapointed to the point that I asked if the sausages were re-heated from breakfast. The reply worried me somewhat more! - 'Sir, I can assure you that doesn't happen in this hotel! Our sausages are delivered pre-cooked and I put them in the microwave for the time it says on our sheet!'.............Needless to say I had dinner in the local chippy! Travelodge advertise against Premier Inn but there is no comparison....and I'm not a huge fan of Premier Inn! The only plus side from my visit was that I was greeted by a cheerful and personable receptionist that lulled me into a false sense of security. Unless you have iron guts and a lack of concern for your surroundings I suggest you avoid this place!
