This hotel is a magnificent example of 18th century architecture.
The bedrooms are very large with high ceilings and maintained to an exceptional standard. They, too maintain the decor and feel of the 18th century. The bathrooms are also very large and of an exceptional standard.
The restaurant is located on the ground floor. It is a large room with some natural light, very regal in style with carved ceilings.
This Hotel is set on a mountainside overlooking the historic town of Sintra. The train station of Sintra is located in the main village which is approximately one kilometre away. Lisbon is about twenty-six kilometres away. There are many historical sites in the Sintra area such as the Castelo de Mauros,Convento de Capuchos,Peninha and the Palacio de Queluz.
