It is a traditional, red brick building situated on one of Hamburg's many canal islands.
The rooms are large and light with light wooden furniture, and a warm, welcoming colour scheme. They are modern in style and in exceptional condition, as are the bathrooms.
Below the reception area is the formal restaurant, which is furnished and decorated in warm colours with a Japanese influence thanks to the Japanese centre near by. Also a wonderful terrace restaurant leading to the Fleet island is offering food, drinks, snacks and coffee.
The hotel is centrally located at the Alster and within walking distance of the new German-Japanese centre. Some of Germany's most exclusive shopping area is nearby, as are all central sites and the train station.
The Fleet area where the hotel is located is one of the most beautyful areas of Hamburg. A lovely charme with many little Fleets which is the Hamburg word for canals.
