The building is modern in the main, though featuring traditional styling clues.
The rooms are medium sized and in exceptional condition with polished hardwood floors and elegant modern furniture. the bathrooms are also in exceptional condition.
The restaurant is light and airy with large windows commanding fabulour views of the surrounding countryside.
This hotel is located next to the small country road which skirts Lake Myvatn in one of Iceland's most visually striking regions. The water's edge is just a few metres from the hotel.
The hotel is something of a focal point for the region being the base for local activities such as horse riding in the summer and snowmobiling on the frozen lake in the winter. RY0904
