Major reconstruction work was completed in 1995 and the hotel was rewarded the top rating in the 'dagens industri' newspaper's hotel guide, thanks to preserving the beauty and solid character of one of the oldest and most luxurious buildings in Sweden.

The rooms now offer a choice of two different styles; turn-of-the-century 'classic' with parquet floors, and light green Nordic style rooms with carpets. All rooms are the same size, medium. Also business 'club rooms' are available.
