The hotel was built from a number of adjoining houses with white stone facades. It is a stunning Georgian exterior, one of the most elegant in the whole city.

Rooms have recently been refurbished and are in very good condition. All rooms retain a traditional feel, whilst having all modern conveniences expected of a hotel of this standard. Many rooms have a view of the hotel's landscaped gardens.

The restaurant has a very warm feel and is decorated in terracotta and green shades.
