To Portmarnock from Dublin city centre: drive over O'Connell Bridge from Westmoreland Street and take an immediate right. Drive along the Quays for approximately 250 m. At the first set of traffic lights take a left, but move into the right lane. Drive under the bridge and at the Y junction immediately in front take a left onto Amiens Street. Drive straight ahead. Continue along North Strand Road, and straight ahead onto Clontarf Road. Drive straight along Clontarf road for approximately 8 km. Take a left turn for Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links (clearly signposted). Continue through Baldoyle, past the church on right hand side and straight on towards Portmarnock. Follow the signs to Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links. As guests drive through the village they will see a row of houses on the left on an incline and at the top of the incline the hotel gates will come into view on the right.
The recently revamped Osborne Brasserie overlooking the landscaped central courtyard garden. Named after the artist Walter Osborne who painted the very view from the hotel. Dine on delicious locally sourced cuisine. The Jameson Bar, in the old house, with its original oak panelling and high ceilings, is the ideal venue for a leisurely drink. The Cocktail Bar overlooks the sea with its magnificent view of Ireland's Eye - one of the country's best known landmarks. Guests may select their breakfast from a continental buffet and the midday and evening meals are may be ordered à la carte or from a set menu. Special dietary requirements may be catered for and guests may take advantage of special offers.
