Mercer Court is home to students of the Royal College of Surgeons from October to the end of June. Located just across the road from the college itself and right next door to the library, there is no more ideal spot for a student of the RCSI, who wants their first years here to be unimpeded by distance and travelling time.

When thinking of staying in a Dublin hotel one starts to wonder what on earth one is thinking, Guinness obviously. Firstly, Dublin is more than just a place to buy good stout it is a city of atmosphere. There is no place like Dublin to remind you that you are on holiday, street to street there is an unmistakable pulsation of excitement and energy of shops, restaurants and importantly people. When staying at the Mercer Court hotel with is moderately sized rooms and furnishings you won’t be bowled over by its glamour but for £44 per night one shouldn’t complain. It offers exactly what you need when staying in a city with too much going on to stay inside, a clean and safe environment to rest your head after a long day’s excursion to the Guinness factory and open bus tours. Situated within walking distance of Temple bar this hotel fills many requirements for a fun Dublin experience. The Facilities are comfortable and clean with the usual suspects: of a TV, desk, phone, private bathroom (shower only) and smoking is permitted. However due to its price and location the clientele at certain times of the year are on the younger and wilder side of age, so expect some merriment and a little hubbub from time to time, but nothing one can’t endure or be involve in. Mercer Court was a pleasant hotel to stay in and provided a good lodging and precursor to what turned out to be a memorable stay in Dublin.
