As a brand new building, the hotel is modern but retaining the traditional touch to blend with the surroundings. The surrounding grounds are quite exquisite.

Every room is decorated to an excellent standard as are the bathrooms. Included in the rooms are: Bathrobes, Ironing Board, Toiletries, Shoe Cleaning, SKY TV, ISDN Lines, Direct Dial modem, Tea/Coffee, Trouser Press. Turn-down service is available and all in all these are amongst the best bedrooms in the area.

The restaurant has an excellent reputation for quality of food and excellent service.It is surrounded by the stunning views of the Peeblesshire countryside incorporating the Championship Golf Course.

This fantastic golf and country club is situated in the Tweed Valley with stunning views of the Border Hills, the hotel is just 20 kms from Edinburgh. The road links in to Edinburgh city are very efficient and generally traffic free. This is the perfect location for those looking for a deluxe hotel close to edinburgh, offering fantastic value for money.

With an 18-hole championship golf course, swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room, beauty treatment rooms and state of the art gymnasium, this hotel is an excellent country retreat for a very special stay within easy reach of Edinburgh. (05/07 it)

What a fab hotel in a beautiful setting. The staff could not do enogh for us which was a welcome change from some of the hotels we have stayed in. Our room had an immaculate bathroom complete with a free standing shower cubicle as well as a bath.The breakfast was served in a very comfortable dining room overlooking the golf course and the bar meals served on comfy sofa's overlooking an open fire. The leisure facilities were excellent.We would definitely return.
