This is a traditional sandstone building, which is large in size, overlooking the large square in front of the station.
The bedrooms are large and furnished to a high standard, with classical style furniture. Both rooms and bathrooms are in exceptional condition.
The restaurant is very elegant with pillars throughout and an impressive tiled floor. The centrepiece of the ceiling is a large area of stained glass in a modern interpretation of art deco. The bar is also in art deco style, with green marble table tops.
The hotel is located at the gates of the Medieval old town in the heart of Nuremberg, within walking distance of the pedestrian area and opposite the main train station.
Overall, this is a hotel which has been renovated sympathetically to recall the grandeur of the early twentieth century. It comes highly recommended.
