A 4 storey typically Icelandic white building. Although not particularly pretty, this building fits in well enough with the local architecture and is functional rather than stunning to look at.
Rooms are medium in size and in good condition with warm, pink and beige colour schemes and attractive, good quality furniture. The bathrooms are also in good condition.
The hotel restaurant is located on the ground floor and is quite large, serving local as well as international dishes. The adjacent bar is very popular.
Located in the centre of Akureyri.
