The hotel is a very large, modern, high-rise building with twenty seven floors, offering views all over London.

The rooms are small but in excellent condition having undergone a recent renovation. All are decorated in contemporary colours and many enjoy superb views across London.

The hotel's main restaurant is attractively decorated in pale colours with a light wood parquet floor, gold coloured handrails and detailing, large windows and mirrored pillars which make it pleasantly light and airy. The hotel also has its own traditionally furnished tavern style pub, and a bistro style cafe for light meals and snacks.

Located in the Kensington area, Gloucester Road underground station is two minutes walk and offers easy access to both the West End and Heathrow Airport.

The perfect option for business or leisure the Holiday Inn London Kensington Forum sets the standard for hotels in Kensington. Stroll to Gloucester Road Tube Station, your gateway to the sights of the city. Enjoy the hotels close proximity to Harrod's, the Royal Albert Hall, Earls Court and Olympia Exhibition Centres, the Natural History, Science and V&A Museums and Kensington Palace. As the tallest Holiday Inn Hotel in Europe, our 27-floor and 906 bedroom hotel offers modern bedrooms with stunning views of London from our higher floors. Holiday Inn’s can often vary in quality depending on which part of the country they’re located, but this particular branch in Kensington is very satisfactory.

Comfortable, clean and welcoming, it provides a cheaper alternative to most hotels you’ll find in this area whilst maintaining a high standard of accommodation.

In terms of location, it’s absolutely ideal. You are right next to Gloucester Road tube station, giving easy access to all of Central London, and you’re also within quick walking distance of various attractions, such as the Natural History Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park. On top of this, it is generally a superb area, filled with lovely restaurants, pubs, bars and clubs, as well as necessary nearby amenities such as a Tesco’s, Waitrose and various bank branches.

The hotel itself is remarkably picturesque for a Holiday Inn. A very tall and striking building, it features refined and attractive décor throughout, particularly in the expansive, welcoming lobby, and the smart but cosily traditional bar. This stays open agreeably late if you should happen to fancy a nightcap. The restaurant is more modern in its furnishings but equally tasteful and also serves very good food at slightly more reasonable prices than you’ll find in the local restaurants. However, if you want to enjoy a simpler and quicker meal there is also a more basic café style food area that produces similarly high quality fare. A breakfast buffet is provided and proved a most welcome start to the day.

The rooms themselves are small but provide all necessary features, with comfortable beds, a TV, nice views over London, a kettle with tea/coffee supplies, and a phone for room service. The bathrooms are clean and decently sized, with efficiently functioning facilities. It is also worth mentioning that the staff are courteous and helpful; they provided everything I asked of them, including some additional toiletries when I accidentally ran out of toothpaste on the final morning of my stay.

Overall, I was very happy with the hotel as a whole. You don’t get luxury, but if you’re just looking for somewhere decent to stay in Central London at an affordable price, this place is ideal.
