The rooms are medium in size and in good condition, as are the bathrooms. They are decorated to a high standard with full facilities. The hotel also offers non smoking floors, a Japanese floor, two disabled, two hearing impaired rooms and executive rooms.
The restaurant has been created to reflect a traditional Highland hunting lodge, named in honour of Cameron Lochiel, chief of clan Cameron. It is an elegant restaurant serving traditional Scottish fare. There is also Minsky's New York deli, based on the original restaurant in New York.
The hotel is located in the city centre, near central station and the river Clyde. There are many restaurants and bars within walking distance. the international airport is around a 15 minute drive.
There are also two bars; one which is set in colonial style with ceiling fans and palms and the Scottish bar, which is more formal and serves afternoon tea. The hotel also has extensive leisure facilities. (BL 11/2005)
