Grange Hotel

We booked into the Grange Hotel for 2 nights. On arrival we had to wait at the bar to check in, given a form to fill in then room keys were placed on the bar. Would have been nice if a member of staff could have taken the time to show us to our room. The first twin room given was dirty we couldnt get the wardrobe doors open without physically moving one or other of the single beds, only to find no coat hangers but a dirty towel on the floor of the wardrobe. We asked to be moved to another room which granted had more space, but no wardrobe doors! which seemed to have been used to make the headboards of the beds. The over head bedlamps didnt work, and when opening the chest of drawers, the handle came off in our hands! as did the toilet roll holder. The curtains were at least 3 inches too short for the windows thus the person sleeping in the bed by the window had a well lit lovely view of the road and roundabout all night long. Needless to say we checked out next day and found other accommodation for our second night. Very disappointing stay!
