The classically styled Fuerstenhof was built in 1770 and was originally the very Grand residence of a Leipzig banker. It was converted into a hotel in 1888. As many original features as possible (both interior and exterior) have been preserved, amongst them the serpentine rooms. The building really is breathtakingly beautiful from outside.
The rooms are all different shapes and sizes, but are large on average. Again, no expense has been spared to make the rooms the best available in town, with top quality furnishings and a tasteful, elegant, decor. Needless to say both rooms and their fabulous, luxury bathrooms, are in exceptional condition.
The hotel has one of the most elegant and fashionable restaurants in town, with a beautiful coved ceiling and graceful marble pillars. Large windows overlook the bustling street outside.
The hotel is located centrally in Leipzig like most of the available hotels. It is in a relatively quiet location, set back from a busy road. All the town centre's attractions are within walking distance.
An ideal place to stay if you want to explore the sights of Leipzig and relax in beautiful ambiance.
