This is a modern white building.
The rooms are small and simple, but in very good condition, as are the bathrooms.
The restaurant is modern and cosy.
This hotel is situated in a peaceful location right by Iceland's largest forest - a considerable domestic tourist attraction in a country almost devoid of trees.
Though the forest itself is perhaps less of a novelty for foreign visitors than for Icelanders this hotel is very well situated as a base for exploring the untouched beauty of eastern Iceland. RY0107
