The building dates from the 17th century so is very traditional in style with red bricks, large sash windows and shutters.
The rooms are fairly modern, unlike the rest of the hotel which is quite traditional. They are decorated in yellows and blues and each has a desk and chairs. They are in a good condition as are the bathrooms.
The hotel has two restaurants the 'Serrerestaurant' and 'The Countess' serving either French or Dutch cuisine
The hotel is centrally located, approximately 10 minutes walk from the central station and opposite the church. Zutphen is approximately 14km from Deventer and about 17km from Apeldoorn. It's within easy access of the A1 motorway.
