The exterior of the building is very traditional and forms part of the shopping arcades.

The medium-sized bedrooms are simply decorated in neutral shades. All have the facilities one would expect from a hotel of this standard. The rooms are in good condition, as are the bathrooms.

Breakfast is either taken in a room located on the first floor also used by guests of neighbouring Hotel Baeren, or in the hotel's friendly snack bar. This is a pleasant, light room with large windows and a light colour scheme.

This hotel is ideally situated in the centre of Berne, just a short walk from the railway station and parliament.

This hotel could not be better located for those wanting to explore the centre of Switzerland's capital. RY08/08
