The exterior is palatial and impressive, particularly when viewed from the tree lined promenade and gardens of the allee.
All rooms are very large and individually furnished in a traditional and elegant style. All the materials used are of the best quality, with many of the designs being unique to the hotel. The pieces of furniture to be found in the rooms are all genuine antiques. Naturally both the rooms and the fully marbled bathrooms are in exceptional condition.
The two restaurants are very different in style and atmosphere. The main restaurant is very traditional and formal. Indeed gentlemen are obliged to wear ties. The smaller restaurant is an informal black forest style restaurant, with a rustic ambience.
