This is a traditional country house hotel, which overlooks the golf course and the beautiful highland countryside. The building is surrounded by trees and is extremely attractive.
All the bedrooms are beautifully decorated and furnished. They each have private bathrooms, colour television, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer and telephone. The rooms are quite small but in a good condition.
The hotel restaurant specialises in dishes made from fresh local produce and the hotel has an excellent reputation for fine food and discreet service.
The hotel is located approximately 6 miles from Aviemore and about 40 minutes' drive from Inverness. The village of Boat of Garden is set in the Highlands and takes its name from the ferry, which crossed the River Spey in Victorian times.
This is an excellent family run hotel and is a particularly good alternative to being in the centre of Aviemore or Inverness. KB 03/07
