The building is traditional in style, though hardly eye-catching. One half of the ground floor level is actually a high class car showroom, whilst the other half belongs to the hotel.
The rooms are, in the opinion of this writer, some of the nicest in Zurich. Designed by the same genius responsible for the famous 'Widder' boutique hotel, they are beautifully simple, using mostly organic materials to create a calm, comfortable environment in which to sleep, relax, or work. The bathrooms are also quite lovely, and it goes without saying that both room and bathrooms are in exceptional condition.
The breakfast room is wonderfully light and airy with beautiful views over the lake.
This hotel is located just next to Zurich's beautiful opera house by the lake.
The hotel comes highly recommended for the discerning traveller with a taste for understated luxury. 0405RY
