Our hotel features guest rooms that are both unmistakable and varied. In a building that also houses non-tourism businesses such as insurance and other companies, the offices of lawyers and tax accountants, as well as dental practices. The rooms are furnished in classical Viennese style. Rooms looking out on the inner courtyard convey a sensation of utter relaxation and tranquility. Those on the upper floors afford attractive vistas extending from the inner city to the Vienna Woods. With the magnificent support of young, dedicated architects, our rooms are continually and tastefully renovated, always mindful of the special needs and wishes of our guests. The rooms facing the courtyard are very popular, but the few which look out on the street are barely bothered by any traffic noise due to efficient soundproofing, and a disadvantage which, on the upper floors, is more than counterbalanced by attractive panoramas which stretch from downtown Vienna to the hills of the Vienna Woods.
Tourists and business people truly appreciate our hotel and its central location, close to the Vienna State Opera, Theater an der Wien and the Karlskirche church, as they do the expert service provided by our always-attentive staff.
More than 80 years ago, a lodging establishment was opened at the same central location of today's Hotel Papageno. From its exterior, the hotel has the appearance of an affluent middle-class residence in typical Viennese style with Art Deco elements, while the interior boasts a wide variety of room layouts. Young architects helped to redesign our rooms such as Katharina Prantner who led the construction of the Top Floor. In many of our 50 deluxe rooms, the toilets are separate from the baths & showers. Of course, makeup mirrors, a mini bar, safe inside the wardrobe, radio & TV, as well as high-speed Internet access, are standards in our guest rooms.
