| Introduction: Well located just 50 metres from the white sandy beach, the Arcos Playa Apartments are situated on the east side of the island, with the Caves of Drach and Hams, and Punta de N`Amer forest within a couple of miles. The accommodation is divided into two buildings each with three floors and each apartment is basic but well equipped. As with most beaches there is also the facility to hire water sport equipment and pedaloes, and from S`illot there is a footbridge joining the resort to the next town of Sa Coma with even more choice.
Comment: The Arcos Playa Apartments will appeal to both families and couples looking for a convenient base to explore the eastern side of the island yet with superb facilities on the doorstop.
Location: The three-storey complex of one-bedroom apartments sleeping up to four people and two-bedroom apartments sleeping up to 6, comprises of just 66 units in total which were refurbished during 2005. There are good road links to the local towns like Porto Cristo and well-known visitation areas like the Caves. S`illot is a small town and the beach is 200 metres long. There is a tiny dock and a wonderful shopping and leisure area. For those looking for wild nightlife and all night bars, the lively resort of Cala Millor is worth the visit and is about a 10 minute drive away.
Swimming pool Area: To ensure a pleasant holiday in Mallorca there is a main outdoor swimming pool with sun terrace, sun loungers and umbrellas, and there is also another sun terrace in front of the building with a view of the square and beach.
Meals & Gastronomy: There is a supermarket opposite the complex for guests to make food purchases. The hotel has a restaurant, and the bar is open all day, and at night offers entertainment. Further choice is available very close to the complex.
