The apartment is very bright and spacious with a double bed and a double sofa bed allowing up to 4 guests to stay. The apartment is on the fifth floor of a six-storey building which has a lift. There is also a balcony with spectacular views over Berlin. Free Wireless Internet is available - just bring your laptop! The apartment is in a very desirable location in the heart of Kreuzberg. Local shopping is plentiful and varied as well as offering a host of restaurants, bars and cafes. The busy and popular Bergmannstrasse with its trendy shops and busy cafes is a short walk of only 500-600 metres away. Downstairs from the apartment there is a bakery which sells fresh bread and croissants. At the end of Grossbeerenstrasse is the beautiful Victoria Park with its national monument. This monument provides an excellent view over much of the southern portions of the city. An artificial waterfall originates at the foot of the monument and continues down the hillside to the junction of Grobeerenstrae and Kreuzbergstrae. Additionally, the local wine Kreuz-Neroberger is cultivated here. Transport links are excellent with the nearest underground station (Mehringdamm) being approx. 500 metres away and the nearest tram station (Yorckstrasse) approx. 800 metres.
