The building is historical dating back to 1342. The exterior is pastel yellow in colour and built into the surrounding architecture. The exterior still features the old hotel sign outside.
The mezzanine rooms are spacious but like the standard rooms do vary in style and layout. They are mostly laid out over two floors and are excellent for families.
The breakfast room is located to the right of the lobby bar towards the rear of the hotel and is still part of the traditional part of the hotel. Decor is light yet cozy and a good breakfast is offered here.
The hotel enjoys a convenient central location in the heart of old town Salzburg, only three minutes walk to Mozartplatz and the famous shopping streets of the pedestrian area. It is also ten minutes on foot away from the Mirabell Gardens and central station.
The hotel has a brilliant location and is ideal for clients who prefer a traditional yet modern hotel in the old part of Salzburg. It comes highly recommended.
