Hotel Altstadt Vienna is a small, private boutique hotel with 42 rooms and suites. It is located in the Spittelberg district, just a few steps away the big museums, the Ringstraße street or the Mariahilferstrasse, the longest shopping street in Vienna.
All rooms are individually appointed with every modern comfort you could imagine, and yet have a touch of the past. Enter the rooms of this Patrician establishment from the 19th century and you will find designer lamps, ancient furniture, amenities from famous designers such as Breuer, Hofmann and Starck, parquet flooring and high ceilings. The rooms are appointed with bathtub or shower, toilet, telephone, cable TV, hair-dryer, safe and mini bar. All rooms are reserved for the non-smoking guests. WLAN internet connection is available in the whole hotel.
The restaurant Rote Salon is designed in English country house style with fireside and comfortable sofas where guests will be spoilt with a free buffet in the afternoon comprising tea and cakes. In the evening the Rote Salon is transformed into a bar.
Our copious breakfast buffet is available until 10:30 a.m. every day and until 11:00 a.m. during the weekend and comprises both wholefood and dietary menus.
