We are a straightforward, privately run hotel and like to concentrate on the small details which turn a stay in Berlin into a real experience. Treat yourself, your guests or your colleagues to the atmosphere of an old Berlin town house from the time of Schinkel, combined with the comforts of today.

We are a privately run hotel with 60 rooms on 3 floors. Lift is available. All our rooms are well equipped with cable TV and pay-TV, radio, minibar, telephone, hairdryer and private en-suite bathrooms. We offer one special room for handicapped people. Our house is a great example of Berlin 19th century architecture with stuccoed and high ceilings. Our hotel is very close to the underground station Turmstrasse, two stops from the center of the former Western part of Berlin, the Zoo. The famous Kurfrstendamm is only another stop further. The well-known boulevard Unter den Linden, the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag are situated nearby.

This hotel is located only a short distance away from the centre of the old western part of Berlin and the Kurfurstendamm (the main shopping centre), whilst the Tiergarten Park, in the centre of Berlin, is within walking distance. The new main railway station (Hauptbahnhof), Brandenburg Gate and the Boulevard Unter den Linden are two and three stops away respectively by bus. All 64 spacious bedrooms have television, radio, telephone, minibar and hairdryer. The hotel is also very proud of its breakfast buffet. Free internet access at reception is also available. Government buildings are close by i.e. ministry of internal affairs. Furthermore, Schloss Bellevue, the residence of the German president, is also near by.

1.)Arriving by train at Zoologischer Garten Take the underground U 9 towards Osloer Strasse. Jump in at the end of the train. Two stops later (4 min ) you are at the underground station U-Turmstrasse. Take the exit Alt - Moabit (not Turmstrasse at the end of the train go up the stairs and turn the right at the road. Across the next big cross road the third house is Hotel Tiergarten at no. 89. Walking distance 3 min.
