It is housed in two Georgian townhouses, and was totally refurbished in 1999. It offers a series of accommodation layouts at great prices, and is ideal for couples, families and groups visiting Dublin. Each of the 21 comfortable en suite rooms come complete with remote control colour televisions and direct dial telephones. Being a listed building however, it was not possible to install an elevator, and may not be suitable for those who find climbing stairs difficult. The Bridge House is located in fashionable Temple Bar with its fine selection of bars, restaurants and visitor attractions, and is under five minutes walk from Grafton Street with its exclusive shops and clubs. Located within ten minutes walk of the hotel are the Guinness Hop Store, Ceól - The Irish Music Experience, The National Gallery, Government Buildings, The Natural History Museum, O'Connell Street - Dublin's main street and many other visitor attractions besides. Also, Dublin's main business districts are all located within ten minutes walk of the guest house.

The rooms were all renovated in 1999, and are of a good, no-frills standard. They are clean and tasteful, with en-suite bathrooms, television and direct-dial telephone. Most rooms are of a good size, but some may be a little small.
There is no restaurant.
The lobby is tiny, consisting of just a reception desk, and is situated on the 1st floor, adjacent to the small lounge area where continental breakfast is served in the mornings.
The guesthouse is comprised of two traditional 18th-century townhouses.
This is a comfortable, if basic, guesthouse with an excellent location. There is no lift, so access to the 1st floor lobby would be difficult for elderly or disabled.
