The large rooms are in very good condition with dark wood Victorian furniture and light soft furnishings, giving an attractive traditional appearance. The bathrooms are in very good condition, decorated in white. All rooms have a modem point. The restaurant, located in the basement is decorated in warm reds, offering a welcoming atmosphere, complimented by traditional pictures hanging on the walls and dark wood furniture. The charming lobby is small, split into three parts with a central hall and smaller seating areas on either side. It is decorated in attractive pastel shades with a blue floral carpet and dark wood furniture. The lobby is a strong feature of the hotel, due to the numerous, well preserved original features, such as the ornate coving to the ceiling and the York stone staircase. The hotel is a listed white Victorian building. This hotel was refurbished in 2002/3 to a good first class standard. Ideal for those wishing to stay close to many of London's museums and art galleries in a traditional townhouse environment.

By Car:From the M25 leave at Junction 15 and join the M4, follow signs for A4, Central London and then continue along the Cromwell Road. At the traffic lights with the Natural History Museum in front of you, turn left into Queens Gate. The hotel is approximately 200 yards on the left-hand-side.By Tube:From Glouchester Road tube station (Piccadilly, Circle and District Lines), follow the Cromwell Road eastwards. At the traffic lights, with the Natural History Museum in front of you, turn left into Queens Gate. The Hotel is approx. 200 yards on the left.
