This guesthouse is situated in the heart of the Cabo de Gata nature reserve, in an area that offers boasts some of the last stretches of unspoilt beaches in the Mediterranean. San Jose, where the guesthouse is located, is a charming coastal fishing town that stretches around a bay, from a small marina to the Ave Maria hill and is the main tourist resort within the reserve. The Cabo de Gata - Nijar nature reserve is internationally recognised as a biosphere reserve under UNESCO. It is a peaceful area, a short walk from the beach and town centre, which offers a number of leisure options from day trips to walks to stunning beaches that are only accessible by foot.
