Ardagh House is a gracious and spacious detached Victorian residence of character and charm. We are situated about 1.5 miles South of St. Stephens Green in this premier residential area. All our rooms are en-suite and our property is fully non-smoking. We have excellent off street parking and the bus stop is just outside our gate. It can be difficult to find comfortable accommodation in Dublin to meet your requirements. Ardagh House is a deluxe three star guest house and is convenient to the city centre. Centrally located between Rathgar, Rathmines and Darty, our family-run guest house offers bed and breakfast accommodation and will offer you a peaceful environment as a base for your visit, while the sights and sounds of Dublin are within easy reach. Built in 1898, most of the original features of the house have been retained during its recent refurbishment. The lounge, dining room and many of the guest bedrooms are located in the original house, and enjoy the beautiful proportions of buildings of that era. Later extensions were added with the original style in mind, and the property offers wonderful views of the gardens and surrounding areas.

Cross the main road and proceed to the RIGHT of this church.You are now on HIGHFIELD RD.ARDAGH HOUSE is at the other end of Highfield Rd on the Right Hand side.To ARDAGH HOUSE From DUBLIN PORTProceed to CITY CENTRESouthwards in OConnell Street, Over the River Liffey, By Trinity College and RIGHT into Dame Street.Take the 3rd turn left into SOUTH GREAT GEORGES STREETFrom here to ARDAGH HOUSE is a straight drive, but at the top of Camden Street there is a One Way system, which means that you must travel the three sides of a square as follows:-At the 3rd set of traffic lights (at the Bleeding Horse Pub and the Camden Court Hotel) you will be forced to go left. Approx. 100 meters - at T junction - turn right, again Approx. 100 meters - at T junction you will be forced to turn right, then Pass 1st turn left and take the 2nd turn left (just before the traffic lights) which will bring you out on Richmond Street South. (You are now back on the straight road).Cross the Grand Canal into Rathmines Road Lower.Proceed straight into Rathmines Road Upper.At the top of Rathmines Road Upper Ardagh House is directly in Front of you at the T junction.Directions from DunLaoire.Follow the signs towards the City. Bypass Blackrock Village.Turn LEFT immediately after St Vincents Hoapital into NUTLEY LANE.Turn RIGHT onto N11 (Stillorgan Road). The TV station will be on your Right Hand Side.Get into the Left Hand Lane. Straight through the 4 cross Junction and immediately (20 yards) LEFT into Eglinton Road.Straight through Milltown, Pass Under 9 Arch Bridge.Continue on through DARTRY ROAD. At the T junction, Turn Left and we are the 3rd Property on the Left Hand Side.Directions From City Centre by public transport.Take the 128 or the 14A bus from town. Get off the bus at the last stop on Upper Rathmines Road. Ardagh House will be visible across the road through the T-Junction.Alternatively we are approx 10 minute walk away from the Luas (tram) line. Board the Luas at St. Stephens Green in the city centre. Travel to the Cowper stop. Follow Cowper Road across to Upper Rathmines Road. Turn left and continue walking straight until Ardagh House is visible in front of you.
