Our accommodations are situated in the historical center of Venice, in the Sestier of Cannarigio. This is, certainly, the ideal area in order to spend a pleasant stay in Venice, morover it offers visitors the opportunity of shopping in the most typical shops and tasting the specialites of Venetian food in the different restaurants and caffees.The Locanda apartment is located near Campo del Ghetto Nuovo, Venices historic ghetto. The Guglie vaporetto stop is only 2 minutes away and the San Marcuola stop on the Grand Canal is only 5 minutes away. Alices court is ideally located in Venices historic center. Here you can experience the evocative ambiance of the old ghetto, visit its museum and synagogues, and rediscover the typical flavors of the Jewish bakeries and restaurants in the neighborhood.In a few minutes on foot, you can reach Strada Nova, the long, lively walkway that leads to Rialto; Ca dOro, the marvelous Gothic palazzo overlooking the Canal Grande that houses the Galleria Franchetti, a collection of important Italian and Flemish paintings; and Ca Vendramin Calergi, epitome of Venetian Renaissance architecture, today home of the Venice Casino.

By planeFrom the Venice Marco Polo Airport (13 km): By boat: take the Alilaguna Lines (Ticket 12.00 Euros) that leave from the airports landing dock and arrive at the Guglie stop (2 minutes on foot from the apartment) or take the Alilaguna taxi (by booking at least 5 days in advance, transfer is 25.00 Euros per person). Alternatively, by land and vaporetto: take the ATVO shuttle to Piazzale Roma (the bus and car terminal), then take ACTV vaporetto No. 42 or 52 to the Guglie stop, or No. 1 or 82 to the San Marcuola stop.From the Treviso San Giuseppe Airport (33 km): take the ATVO shuttle bus to Piazzale Roma (the bus and car terminal) then take vaporetto lines ACTV No. 42 or 52 to the Guglie stop, or No. 1 or 82 to the San Marcuola stop.From the Guglie and San Marcuola vaporetto stops, follow the directions under By train: GuglieSan Marcuola stops.By trainThe Santa Lucia Train Station is in Venices historic center, on the Canal Grande. From there, take ACTV vaporetto lines No. 42 or 52 to the Guglie stop, or No. 1 or 82 to the San Marcuola stop.From the Guglie stop you can reach the Locanda in two minutes on foot. Turn left along the Fondamenta Pescheria and enter the passageway to the old ghetto on your right. Keep straight, cross the bridge, and enter the square Campo del Ghetto Nuovo. The apartment is only 5 minutes away from the San Marcuola stop. Go down the street in front of the vaporetto stop and turn left after the church, then right on Rio Ter del Cristo. At the end, turn right on Rio Ter San Leonardo then onto Farsetti. After about 100 meters, turn left on Calle Nuova. Keep going straight until you reach Campo del Ghetto Nuovo. Youve arrived.By carAfter you pass the toll plaza, follow signs for Venezia. Once you have crossed the long Ponte della Libert (Liberty Bridge), you are in Venice. Leave your car in the Tronchetto parking garage (on your right after the bridge) or in one of the other garages in Piazzale Roma, the bus and car terminal.
