The hotel recently featured in the Autumn issue of Arthur Frommer’s Budget Travel guide, in an article entitled 20 Wonder Hotels in London: “good rooms at a good price are hard to find in this pricey city. We went hunting and found 20 - all for under USD 150.” The New England Hotel also featured in the Chicago Tribune's travel section on 15 September 2002 and has been mentioned in the Los Angeles Times. FROM VICTORIA RAILUNDERGROUND STATIONS:The Hotel is situated Eight minutes from Victoria railunderground, Bus and Coach stations. From The Rail station as you are facing The Appolo Victoria Theatre on Wilton Road turn right and go down wilton road up to the 2nd set of traffic lights. Then turn right at the lights on to Warwick Way, go straight past the 1st set of traffic lights at the second set of lights turn left on to Saint Georges Drive. The New England Hotel is now immediately on your Left Hand Side at Number 20 St.Georges Drive. FROM GATWICK AIRPORT:Take the Gatwick Express to Victoria station and follow the directions as above.FROM HEATHROW AIRPORT:Take the piccadilly line(Dark Blue Colour) and CHANGE trains at Hammersmith to get on the District line(Green Colour) to Victoria station.
