The hotel has 3 newly decorated conference suites, the Drysdale Suite, the Keswick Suite and the Westlake Suite. All of the suites are located on the hotel’s lower ground floor, away from the main hotel area. All of the rooms are quiet, peaceful and air-conditioned, with plenty of natural daylight. The rooms are fully equipped with everything you need for a successful meeting or business event and videos, projectors and overhead projectors are all readily available. The flexible facilities can be tailored to your precise requirements and the experienced and professional staff are available to help with every aspect of your event. The Drysdale Suite is the largest of the 3 rooms and can accommodate up to a maximum of 80 people. The room comes with telephone/internet connections. The Keswick Suite is smaller, but is comfortable and spacious enough to accommodate smaller-scale meetings. With natural light and air conditioning, this room is ideal for presentations or board meetings. There is a large oval table with a maximum capacity of 8 and the room also features telephone/internet connections. The Westlake Suite features natural lighting and air conditioning and is able to accommodate small to medium-sized meeting. This room also has telephone/internet connections.

This hotel is a very good choice in terms of location and budget. Although the lobby and public areas have been renovated to an excellent standard, some of the bedrooms would benefit from refurbishment. (09/07 RPL)

The Blakemore Hotel is centrally located in a quiet, tree-lined street, in Bayswater, only 20 minutes walk to Oxford Street, Marble Arch and Selfridges, 2 minutes walk to Hyde Park and 5 minutes walk to Kensington Gardens (Princess Dianas Memorial Gardens). We are surrounded by several tourist attractions, such as Harrods, Madam Tussauds, Buckingham Palace, Portobello Street Market, Covent Garden, the London Eye, Piccadilly Circus and just about every other main attraction London has to offer, with taxis, buses, tubes and trains within easy reach. We were also used extensively as a filming location for the film Notting Hill.!

The Hotel is situated in the heart of Bayswater, adjacent to Hyde Park and close to Marble Arch and Oxford Street. Queensway and Bayswater tube stations are just a five-minute walk away.

The rooms are small and are tastefully decorated in pale colour schemes but they are only in fair condition. The bathrooms are undergoing constant renovation one by one so they vary a lot in condition.

The restaurant is found in the basement, and is a pleasantly light room due to the attractive pale pastel decoration.

The lobby is medium and welcoming, decorated tastefully with a beige marble floor and dark wood furniture. A seating area adjoins the lobby and bar area.

The hotel is a well-executed white Victorian townhouse conversion with a classy entrance with full length tinted glass windows.

Travelling by underground: from Queensway station, turn left out of the station onto Bayswater Road. Take the 5th turning on the left (Queensway, the street on which the station is located being counted as the 1st). This is Leinster Terrace, which becomes Leinster Gardens. The hotel is on the left.
