The hotel is situated in a typical Amsterdam’s building which has to be reached via a staircase and is not accessible by wheelchairs. In the breakfast restaurant you can enjoy the breakfast buffet. During the summer months we are delighted to serve your breakfast outside on the patio. Tulip Inn Amsterdam Centre is located in the very heart of Amsterdam opposite to the dazzling Leidseplein. In addition to the countless restaurants, cafes and nightclubs, the most important shopping areas are within walking distance of the hotel. The world-famous Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum (Rembrandt) the Municipal Museum and the beautiful Vondelpak are just a few minutes away from the hotel. The hotel is completely renovated in 2004 and offers all modern facilities such free internet in the lobby and a high-tech internet / movie-on demand system in all 70 rooms. Reservations for the private parking can be made on request. The hotel can arrange a shuttle bus to Schiphol Airport (appr.30 min at a rate of appr.

This hotel is well located in the centre of Amsterdam, close to the Leidseplein, Holland casino, Kalverstraat and the PC Hoofsstraat which is the famous up market shopping street in Amsterdam. It is also close to the Museums and other tourist attractions.

The bedrooms are in very good condition and are all medium sized as they were renovated in 2004. Some have wooden flooring and are more luxurious than previously as they are catering more towards the business traveller. The bathrooms are also in good condition and the bedrooms offer some of the best 3 star accommodation that this city has to offer.

The restaurant is located in the basement and serves breakfast only. It is quite large and airy and rather attractive.

The reception area is actually very small with a slightly raised and very small seating area. However, through the bar which is next to the reception is a large lounge area which has recently been renovated and has plenty of seating and is actually very comfortable with large, checked sofas and all in very good condition. There is also a patio which can be used in the summer months only.

The exterior is traditional and very well maintained.

This is an excellent three star product with an excellent location and is suitable for all markets. Probably one of the best three star hotels in Amsterdam. 07/2004/jg
