The Rembrandt Centrum Hotel is situated in the heart of Amsterdam between the Herengracht and the Singel, near Dam square. Our rates are exclusive of city tax (5%). It is set in 17th and 19th century monumental buildings right on the citys most prestigious canals.

This hotel is a stone's throw from the oldest part of Amsterdam and the Royal Palace and overlooks one of Amsterdam's beautiful canals.

The rooms vary in size from small to large due to the age of the building. They are modern but simple in style, although some still retain their original wooden beams which are typical of the buildings from this century. Along with the bathrooms, their condition is fair to good. A very small percentage have, however, been totally renovated in modern style, and are in very good condition.

The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but there is a breakfast room situated on the lower ground floor, with natural daylight, which can be used for groups.

In contrast to the traditional exterior, the small lobby is more modern, but there are still strong touches of tradition. This area also includes a cozy bar and comfortable lounge area.

It is uniquely set in four 17th century houses right on the city's most prestigious canals. The facade is typical of this distinct style.

This hotel is ideal for both groups and individuals wishing to experience the true character of old Amsterdam. However, please note that it is not possible for coaches to reach the entrance of the hotel so drop off will have to be in a nearby street. 170907JG

Travel from Schiphol Airport: -Shuttle bus, duration 35-40 min. Price is EUR 12.00 per person. There is no stop at the hotel, but if you ask the driver, he will stop at the corner of Herengracht and Raadhuisstraat, from where it is only a 3-minute walk to the hotel. We recommend you to buy a one-way ticket, as the service from the hotel to the airport is not possible from our hotel.-Taxi from Schiphol Airport (about EUR 35) duration approximately 20 minutes. -Train to Central Station Amsterdam, duration 12-20 minutes. This train will be leaving every 6 to 10 minutes. A one-way ticket costs EUR 3.50 each.
