Located near the Rijks Museum, this hotel overlooks the Lido and Holland casino complex and the Hard Rock Cafe. It is only a short walk from the well-known Leidseplein with its terraced restaurants and it is within walking distance of all major tourist attractions.

The rooms are medium in size but have all been renovated in 2008 to a very high standard. They are now modern in design but also traditional, with a warm colour scheme, modern features e.g. plasma televisions, and power showers and designer beds. The bathrooms have also been renovated and are in excellent conditions. Some rooms command pleasant views overlooking the Vondelpark.

The restaurant has been completely overhauled and is now located in the front of the hotel. It is very bright with floor to ceiling windows, a modern, Italian decor and serves a very extensive breakfast. For dinner, the restaurant has a fusion Asian cuisine of top class standards with a fully open kitchen and comes highly recommended and for lunch, you can get bento boxes.

The completely renovated lobby has various areas, one incorporates a lounge with comfy furniture and a fireplace and serves a snack menu, the other is the library which has volumes of books and magazines as well as a wifi corner and a communal reading table and then you have the reception. all decorated to a very high standard. Again, like in the restaurant, floor to ceiling windows give this a very bright and airy feel but it is still very warm and inviting.

This is a traditional building which stands out from the rest of the surrounding buildings due largely to its predominantly green roof and its shape and size.

Public Transportation from the Airport - take the train to Amsterdam Zuid W.T.C. take tram 5 in the direction of Central Station. Exit at Hobbemastraat. Follow the tram tracks on foot. The Park Hotel is located on the right-hand corner (5 minute walk).From Den Haag - Schiphol Airport (A4) - from the A4 follow direction Zaandam, then exit at S-106. At the end turn right. Pass the roundabout at Surinameplein, move into the left lane crossing the bridge. Turn left into the Overtoom. At the end turn right into the Stadhouderskade. At the third traffic lights change to the left lane and the Park Hotel is on your right-hand side. From Utrecht (A2) - Follow direction Centrum. After entering Amsterdam city limits, turn right at the first traffic lights into President Kennedylaan. This will continue into the Amsteldijk. At the T-crossing, turn left into Stadhouderskade. Follow this road and pass the Rijksmuseum. The Park Hotel is located 50 metres down on the left-hand side. From Diemen Amersfoort (A10) - follow direction Centrum, Amsterdam, Schiphol and exit at S-112 Centrum. At Amstel Station, follow direction Centrum into the Wibautstraat. At the large crossing, turn left. Follow this road and pass the Rijksmuseum. Park Hotel Amsterdam is located 50 metres down on the left-hand side. Public Transportation from Central Station - take tram 1, 2 or 5 and exit at Leidse Square. Continue by foot towards the Vondelpark. Directly next to the Vondelpark, opposite Holland Casino, you will find the Park Hotel on the corner (5 minute walk).From Amsterdam Zuid W.T.C. - take tram 5 in the direction of Central Station. Exit at Hobbemastraat. Follow the tram tracks on foot. The Park Hotel is located on the right-hand corner (5 minute walk).From Hotel to Schiphol Airport - turn left into the Overtoom. At the end turn right, direction A10, than follow signs to Schiphol Airport.

Public transportation - From Central Station - take tram 1, 2 or 5 and exit at the Leidsesquare. Continue by foot by following the tram tracks. Take a left into the Stadhouderskade. The Park Hotel is located across the street on the corner.
