If you would prefer to go shopping then the chic P.C: Hooftstraat is to be found just around the corner, and there you will find all the most famous fashion labels, which will definitely be worth your while. If you would rather go to the disco, the theatre, a concert, film, bar or restaurant then a taxi is not necessary, because from this strategically located hotel all destinations can be reached by foot. Would you like to go on a boat trip through the canals? You can step in almost right at your front door. Some rooms have shower only.

This centrally located hotel is just within walking distance from the well known Leidseplein. The hotel is overlooking the Vondelpark, the canals and the downtown areas. The famous Museums are also close by as are all the major tourist attractions.

The non-redecorated bedrooms are medium to large in size with simple furnishings and fittings, and are in fair condition with a black and grey colour scheme. The bathrooms are also in fair condition. The redecorated bedrooms are more colourful and welcoming with blue carpet and bright curtains and with a desk and chair and give a fresher feel.

The hotel has a simply furnished breakfast room, but no restaurant, which must be reached by 4 small steps. It is open plan and there is even a special smoking section which is apart from the main room. This serves an extensive hot buffet breakfast.

The small lobby is fairly dark but has a small sitting area with television and leads to the bar which is decorated in black and white and has a muriel of the world which was painted by one of the locals.

The exterior of the building is traditional and the interior is decorated in art deco style.
