The Dylan was designed by the renowned British interior designer, Anouska Hempel. She cleverly blended the period features of the 17th century building with modern, stylish and sometimes quirky touches. Anouska Hempel also gave parts of the interior a strong Asian feel with her dramatic use of a black and white palette, theatrical lighting and furnishings sourced from Japan and China. The public areas of The Dylan have recently been refreshed and extended by the international design award winning company FG stijl to take the Dylan to a higher level. The Lounge has been redesigned to provide a relaxed, intimate space for drinks or informal meetings while the bar is one of Amsterdam’s hippest hangouts. A new private room with a connecting glazed courtyard provides a large, flexible and dramatic space ideal for presentations, meetings, cocktail parties or dinners. All rooms are non smoking!

Located in the heart of Amsterdam on one of the its most beautiful and famous canals, this hotel is within walking distance of all tourist attractions as well as within walking distance of the Central Station.

The suites all vary in style and are in excellent condition as would be expected from this very deluxe, boutique style hotel. They are all medium to large with varying colour schemes, some with four-poster beds, some split-level, and are all feng-shui friendly. The bathrooms are also unique and in excellent condition.

The restaurant is currently the most talked about eateries in Amsterdam and is located on the ground floor and lower ground floor of the hotel. It is immaculately decorated in black and white and the food is first class with much attention to detail, as is the service. The menu is a mixture of East meets West with something for all tastes and reservations are necessary.

The lobby is very small with the reception leading directly off the marbled lobby. In the reception area is a reception desk where guests sit on comfortable bench like seats whilst checking in, with wooden floors and beautiful flowers and vases giving a feeling of calm and tranquility.

This is a traditional hotel in keeping with the rest of the buildings on this lovely street. There is an attractive courtyard leading to the entrance of the hotel which is very discreet and which is not obviously a hotel from the outside.

This is currently the most talked about hotel in town and suitable for all those who like to feel at home away from home ansit is very stylish and exclusive.
