The non smoking 3-star Eden Lancaster Hotel Amsterdam is part of the Eden Hotel Group. The hotel is open 24 hours per day and houses 91 recently renovated hotel rooms divided over 5 floors. All rooms have free high speed internet, free coffee & tea facilities and a private, compact bathroom. In our charming lobby free wireless internet is available; if you do not have your own laptop you can use our internet computer at a small charge. Drinks and snacks are available 24 hours per day. A breakfast buffet can be enjoyed in our breakfast restaurant. Our receptionists will be happy to assist you in reserving tickets to all kinds of attractions such as the zoo Artis, a canal cruise or a city tour. City maps are available at the reception free of charge. If you are coming by car you can use the public parking lots around the hotel. Day cards for the parking can be obtained at the reception. Please note that parking in Amsterdam is expensive! (34 euro per 24 hours) Unfortunately the hotel and breakfast area are not easily accessible for guests in a wheel chair.

All the bedrooms were renovated completely in 2004 and now offer vastly improved accommodation with a relaxing beige and terracotta colour scheme, a desk in all bedrooms with an attractive leather chair and references throughout the bedrooms and hotel to the city of Amsterdam and its history. The bedrooms are in very good condition, as are the bathrooms, which have not been renovated but which are simply decorated with white tiling and are kept sparkling clean.

Due to the central location of this hotel, it serves breakfast only and the breakfast room may be found on the lower ground floor. It too, was renovated in 2004 and now benefits from a lovely wooden floor, purple lighting, red chairs and many Dutch artefacts, giving it a bright and cheerful atmosphere.

Medium sized with a very modern outlook with a circular steel and wooden reception desk. It is split level with a large, communal central wooden table with attractive leather chairs. An attractive chandelier all give the lobby a more upmarket feel than most 3 star properties.

The exterior of the building is traditional whereas the interior is more modern in appearance.

Drive about 3miles ahead, at the roundabout, Tropenmuseun turn left, the Lancaster hotel is after about 1/2 mile on the left.
