The hotel is situated next to Tower Bridge and overlooks St Katherine's Dock and the River Thames. Though well served by buses and Tower Hill underground station which is just five minutes walk away, the business areas of the city and the World Trade Centre are easily accessible on foot.

The standard rooms are medium sized and decorated in mainly neutral colours. Most have lovely views over Tower Bridge and the Thames or St Katherine's Dock. Both the rooms and bathrooms are in good condition.

The hotel has two restaurants, a traditional carvery on the first floor, decorated in warm English style, and a more modern, lighter bistro-style restaurant on the ground floor with full length windows overlooking the Thames.

The lobby is a definite feature of the hotel being large and beautifully decorated with cream marble throughout, it is very open-plan with plenty of seating and an attractive central staircase leading to other public areas.

The exterior of the hotel is very modern, in dark stone, it dominates its area.

Road - Head for Tower Bridge. Drive towards Tower Bridge as if crossing to south of river, straight over first set of lights and do a U-turn at 2nd set of lights. After the traffic light controlled junction, turn left immediately into St Katherines Way and the hotel is at the end. There are 120 car parking spaces available under the hotel at an additional charge. Railway and the tube Fenchurch Street is 0.5 miles away.Underground - Take the District or Circle Underground line to Tower Hill Station. Exit the station via the entrance on the left, go down steps and through the subway. Turn left out of the subway, walking past the Tower of London. Take the subway under the next road and then follow signs for the Tower Hotel.Air - From London Heathrow, take the Heathrow Express or Piccadilly Underground into London and then follow the RAIL directions to the hotel. Alternatively, London City Airport is 6 miles away.

From the north side of the River Thames, head for Tower Bridge. At the junction on the north side of the bridge, follow signs for Tower Bridge, and then on leaving the junction, just before the start of the blue railings, bear left onto St Katherine's Way, which runs parallel to Tower Bridge Approach down to the riverbank, where the hotel is on your left. The nearest station is Tower Hill (Circle and District lines). From the station, head through the subway towards the Tower of London, then turn left and continue around the outside of the Tower, towards Tower Bridge. When you reach Tower Bridge approach, cross the road at the traffic lights, and turn right down St Katherine's Way. Follow this road down to the riverbank, and the hotel is on your left.
