The Montague on The Gardens, a beautiful luxury London townhouse hotel overlooking a private garden in a secluded spot close to the British Museum and Covent Garden, London is an intimate luxury boutique hotel dedicated to providing business and leisure guests with outstanding personal service, exceptional comfort and every modern convenience. Fully air-conditioned guest rooms and luxury hotel suites engender the ambience of a fine country hotel on a London side street. Restaurants, conservatories and the terrace cater for a wide range of dining experiences.

The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of the West End within walking distance of Theatreland and many tourist attractions, one of which is the British Museum around the corner from the hotel. The nearest underground station is Russell Square just five minutes walk away. The rooms are tastefully decorated in different colour schemes, they are in very good condition and the rooms at the back are particularly pleasant with views over the hotel's peaceful private gardens. Due to the age of the building the rooms vary greatly in size, but on average they are small. The bathrooms are also in good condition. Breakfast is served in a light airy room on the lower ground floor which has a conservatory overlooking the gardens, there is also a bistro-style restaurant on the ground floor where guests can take dinner. The small lobby is laid out with marble, the windows and ceiling feature heavy drapes in the same material and there is a beautiful old open fire. The hotel was originally nine Georgian townhouses which have since been joined into one building, though the original facades remain. This is a pleasant hotel, situated in the heart of London. From Russell Square underground. Coming out of the station turn left and walk towards the end of the Street with the HSBC bank on the right hand corner. With the Russell Hotel behind you cross over the zebra crossing towards the gardens. Go through the gardens towards the top left hand corner. Cross the zebra crossing and you will be at the end of Montague Street. The hotel is 50 yards up on the left hand side.
