The Spindles Health & Fitness Centre (access at an additional cost) is beautifully appointed and offers its own private lounge. It is the hotel's policy that all children aged between 2 and 16 should be accompanied by an adult when visiting Spindles. Spindles is open 07:00 until 22:00 (Monday to Friday), and from 08:00 until 19:00 (Saturday and Sunday). Accompanying children are welcome from 09:00 until 12:00, and from 14:00 until 17:00). This hotel is located in Docklands. It is only ten minutes from Bank underground station on the Docklands light railway which stops five minutes’ walk from the hotel. Canary Wharf underground station is a short walk away, offering direct links to the west end of London via the Jubilee Line.

The rooms on average are large, decorated in a traditional style with dark wooden furniture, old pictures and chandeliers. Most have superb views and both the bedrooms and bathrooms are in very good condition.

The lobby is large and elegant with a marble floor and lit by numerous chandeliers. Although the exterior is very modern, the interior is traditional in style. There is a large seating area with full length windows on one side; these command a breathtaking view over the Thames to Canary Wharf, one of Docklands’ most exciting developments.

The building is modern in shiny brown marble, which dominates the surrounding area. The entrance is also impressive with an in and out drive in front.
