This hotel has a good position, also very close to S. Marco's Square. It is a family run business very looked after, with in mind just to please the client. The standard is definitely closer to a 4 star than a 3. There is an Annex, just on the other side of the small calle with extremely beautiful family rooms developed in 2 floors with plenty of space around. Recommended. CQ 02/07

The hotel is located just off one of the city's most majestic waterfront promenades, the Riva degli Schiavoni, situated within easy distance of St. Mark's Square and all the major historical sites. The area has an abundance of restaurants and bars, all overlooking the unique views of the San Mark's Basin with its landscape of churches and palaces surrounded by the lagoon waters. All shops and amenities are also available in the area. The closest boat stop is San Zaccaria.

Rooms are medium-sized, traditionally furnished and pleasantly decorated. All rooms have parquet floors with wooden cream-coloured furniture that reflects the bedspreads. All equipped with modern comforts. The bathrooms and the rooms have been recently refurbished in a sober and refined style. They appear in excellent condition.

The hotel has a spacious, bright, and well-appointed breakfast room. There is also an intimate bar area furnished in a modern style.

Lobby is medium-sized, partly wood furnished in a traditional style with wooden ceilings. The large reception desk is white, there are two sitting areas called the 'blue lounge' with blue chairs and coffee tables and the 'brown lounge' with brown comfortable sofas.

This is a traditional Venetian building; the hotel is a restored palace of 16th century.

Recently renovated, the Hotel Bisanzio is one of the Venetian hotels w hich has most successfully combined tradition with modern amenities.It s rooms, laid out on three floors, are furnished in the classical Ven etian 18th-century style. Each room is equipped with individually-c ontrolled air-conditioning and heating, satellite TV, minibar, direct telephone, modem connection and safe as well as hairdryer in the bath room. From the plant-filled terrace of some of the rooms, there is an enviable view of the city's rooftops, dominated by the cupola of San Zaccaria and St. Mark's bell tower. Having breakfast, or taking a mome nt to relax is a unique experience in this setting.
