Built in 1836, award winning Woodlands Country House, at Gorey, Co. Wexford, Ireland, is set in 2 acres of mature Gardens and courtyard of old stone buildings. This beautiful Georgian residence retains all the characteristics of the period and offers superb accommodation. Relax in comfortable old world charm. Tea and hot scones, and home preserves are always served on arrival and during your stay. Relax with a bottle of wine in our Guest Lounge or on your balcony. There is an a la carte Breakfast each morning - with lots of fresh juices,organic cereals, yogurts, prunes, grapefruit ,or porridge (cooked to order). This followed by full Irish breakfast with choice of menu each morning, served in our luxurious dining room. Our six en-suite rooms are carefully decorated to ensure appreciation of the surroundings, with treasured period furnishings. Some have LCD colour televisions, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryers and toiletries .... and three rooms have balconies overlooking our award winning gardens and panoramic views of the local countryside. There are special offers during the year, and reductions of 10% for any stay over 3 nights (with the exception of Bank Holiday Weekends) On the grounds there is a river walk, small lake, tennis court with balls and racquets free to guests. Adjacent there is signposted woodland walks, taking into the picturesque Villiage of Killinierin, which boasts a Puguin Church, a supermarket and the local Pub, also the local Primary School.

Woodlands Country House is ideally located in the county of Wexford in South East of Ireland, being just an hour from Dublin, and 45 minutes from Rosslare. Situated between the towns of Gorey and Arklow, Woodlands is just 1 mile 1.3 KM off the main N11 Route. Take EXIT 22 (TINOCK ROUND ABOUT) immediately off the ROUND ABOUT you will see the sign for Woodlands Country House on right. (Fruit farm).
