Opened in 2005, the hotel comprises a main building and annexe blocks a total of 8 rooms. The 2-storey main building offers access to various facilities including a foyer with a 24-hour reception des, cloakrooms, a cosy bar and safes. A room service is also offered. Parking is to be found outside the hotel.

Hotel Vecellio is a pretty family run Hotel faces the Lagoon of Venice. It was remodel just 1 year ago and is manage by native Venetians living in the historical city. The rooms are all equipped by the modern comfort (bathroom, Sat TV, minibar, hairdryer, telephone), in the hall is available a small bar for the guests.The most part of the rooms are faced to the Venice Lagoon.

Hotel Vecellio is an excellent little, 3 star, boutique style hotel, with only 8 rooms. The hotel stands overlooking the Lagoon towards the islands of Murano, Burano, and St Michele.

The hotel prides itself on its meticulous attention to detail and its location, being no more than a 15 minute walk from the beautiful Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square. However, if guests prefer to use the water-bus (vaporetto), then the stop is literally outside the hotel's front door (guests should also note there is a direct water-bus link to Marco Polo airport from outside the hotel). Privately owned, and proudly run, by Signora Doralice, the Vecellio Hotel is a little gem of a hotel, slightly off the well-worn tourist track, but well worth a visit.

Hotel Vecellio is in the northern part of Venice called Fodamente Nuove just in front the main Vaporetto lines (41-42-51) plus the Alilaguna line, the shuttle to the airport.To reach us is pretty easy, from any venetian terminal (Terminal Car or Railway Station) catch lines n. 41-42-51 and get off the boat stop of Fondamente Nuove, the Hotel is a few meters by the boat stop.From the airport is still very easy, catch the Alilaguna service, in 25 minutes youll be just in front the Hotel Vecellio.
