Ca’ dei Conti is set in a building boasting an illustrious past: built in the 18th century, it belonged to the aristocratic Armenian Sherimann family until the end of the century. Their coat of arms can still be admired in the precious Carrara-marble floor in the hall.

The attic rooms of this hotel, overlooks the typical Venetian roof tops, and present a unique layout, being romantically located just underneath the roof of the hotel. The design of the ceilings is typical of a loft with their exposed beams and the height changing to its maximum of 2.20 metres in the middle of the room. All rooms present twin beds and a cosy, little seating corner. The stylish bathrooms are equipped with showers. The rooms are equipped with all modern facilities such as minibar, satellite television, air conditioning, safe and radio, and are all traditional in style with a soft carpeted floor. They are luxuriant, tastefully decorated with precious damask on the walls and beautiful fabrics to adorn the windows and the beds.

The hotel has no restaurant. However, the breakfast room and bar are located on the first floor in a charming saloon with plenty of natural light and beautiful chandeliers dating back to the 18th century.

The lobby is large in size with a nice marbled floor. Sofas and armchairs are positioned all around the hall which is adorned by 2 original Greek columns and a well dating back to the 18th century.

The 2-storey palace, once residence of one of the most famous Venetian families, has been totally renovated preserving its original architecture. The elegant facade, with its precious "quadrifora", is painted light pink with lanterns at both sides of the entrance, which is accessible by a small private bridge.

Coming in Venice byTRAIN -- Santa Lucia Railway station is located approximately 1 km from the center. The hotel is easy to reach by private water taxi (20 minutes ride approximately) or by public transport (VAPORETTO) serviced by line 1 (45 minutes) to landing-stage San Zaccaria, line 51 (30 minutes) and line 82 (3540 minutes) to San Zaccaria MONUMENTO(). From the boat-stop take Calle delle Rasse, at the very end of it turn left in Campo San Filippo e Giacomo, at the right corner of this small square take Calle Sacrestia and turn left before the bridge (into Calle di fianco la Chiesa), and take the covered archway on the right, a small private bridge on your right leads to the hotel.CAR There are 3 garages in Venice: Tronchetto (at Isola del Tronchetto), Garage Comunale and Garage San Marco (at Piazzale Roma, the bus-terminal).
